Currently, we’re hosting a canned food drive at our aquatic center; but this year, we added a twist. In previous years, participation was slower than we’d hoped, so we decided to make it fun and engaging by turning the drive into a friendly competition.
We asked our swim families to “vote” for their favorite swim teachers by placing their donated canned goods into the box labeled with that instructor’s picture. The response has been overwhelming — in just one day, we went from zero donations to nearly 50 cans collected! It’s been amazing to see our community come together for a great cause while having fun at the same time.
Starting December 1st, we’re kicking off our annual Spark of Love Toy Drive one of our most successful community events every year. This special drive began with a firefighter’s simple but powerful mission: to bring joy to children in need during the holiday season.
Participating in this program reminds us of the true spirit of giving. Knowing that each donated toy will brighten the holidays for a child who might otherwise go without is an incredibly rewarding feeling for our entire team and swim family.
Turn it into a competition — Motivate your employees or customers to participate by adding a prize incentive.
Host a community event — Throw a customer appreciation party or open house where the “entry fee” is a donation item such as a toy or canned good.

At Premier Aquatics, our support of Stop Drowning Now is deeply rooted in our mission to make water safety education accessible for all. The organization’s “Safer 3” message Safer Water, Safer Kids, and Safer Response serves as the foundation of its efforts.
Giving back isn’t just good for the community it strengthens relationships, builds trust, and inspires others to do the same. Whether it’s collecting donations, volunteering time, or supporting a cause close to your heart, every effort matters.
At Premier Aquatics, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a big splash. When businesses lead by example, their employees, clients, and communities follow creating a ripple effect of generosity and goodwill that reaches far beyond the pool.
Being part of a community means more than just doing business it’s about building connections and supporting one another. When local businesses give back, they help strengthen the neighborhoods that support them. Community involvement not only improves brand trust and awareness but also creates a sense of shared purpose among employees, clients, and residents alike.
You don’t need to start with grand gestures to make an impact. Even the smallest donation, act of service, or word of encouragement can set off a chain reaction of positivity. Every can collected, toy donated, or hour volunteered contributes to something greater a stronger, kinder, and more connected community.
