Giving Back to Our Community
Whether you’re a small business, large corporation, or independent contractor, giving back to your community is a powerful way to show appreciation and make a difference. At Premier Aquatics, we take pride in supporting our local community in many ways — from sponsorships and food drives to toy collections and volunteer efforts. One of the organizations closest to our hearts is the non-profit Stop Drowning Now, which aligns closely with our mission of promoting water safety. Supporting a cause that reflects our values helps raise awareness about issues we’re truly passionate about.

Canned Food Drive – Turning Donations into a Fun Competition

We’re currently hosting a canned food drive at our aquatic center! In the past, it’s been challenging to encourage participation, but this year we decided to make it more engaging, and it’s working. Our current swim program families can now “vote” for their favorite swim instructor by donating canned goods. Each can counts as a vote, placed in the donation box labeled with their instructor’s photo. The results have been incredible, in just one day, we went from zero donations to nearly 50!

Toy Drive – Spreading Joy with Spark of Love

Starting December 1st, we’ll kick off our annual Spark of Love Toy Drive. This special event is always a success, not only because of the generosity of our clients but also because of the inspiring story behind it.

Spark of Love began with a firefighter’s simple desire to bring happiness to children in need. Each year, we’re honored to join in their mission, collecting toys to ensure every child experiences the magic of the holiday season. Seeing the joy this drive brings is truly one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Creative Ways to Encourage Donations

Looking to organize your own community give-back initiative? There are several creative ways to inspire participation. You could start a friendly office competition by challenging coworkers or departments to donate the most, offering a fun prize for the winners. Hosting an event, such as a customer appreciation party or open house, is another option, where entry could be a donation like a canned good or toy. Offering incentives, such as free family pool passes for clients who bring in the most donations, can also encourage involvement. Additionally, supporting a local or industry-related non-profit that aligns with your business values is a meaningful way to give back. Finally, sponsoring local programs, such as nearby school teams, clubs, or youth organizations, helps strengthen community connections while making a positive impact.

Partnering with “Stop Drowning Now”

As mentioned earlier, we proudly support Stop Drowning Now, a non-profit organization that teaches and promotes the “Safer 3” approach. This approach focuses on Safer Water, which involves identifying and minimizing water hazards; Safer Kids, which educates children on how to stay safe in and around water; and Safer Response, which teaches individuals how to react effectively in water emergencies.

Stop Drowning Now shares these life-saving practices in preschools, elementary schools, and community events. At Premier Aquatics, we help amplify their message by inviting them to our pool events, sharing educational content on social media, and contributing donations whenever possible.

Why Giving Back Matters

Giving back to your community is essential for any business; large or small. Whether through a simple food or toy drive or by supporting a non-profit, community involvement strengthens relationships, builds goodwill, and creates a positive impact that extends far beyond your organization.

At Premier Aquatics, we believe that when businesses lead with generosity, their clients and community are inspired to do the same. Together, we can make a real difference.
