Swimming isn’t just an activity for the Alcaraz family; it’s a way of life. From parent-and-me classes to swim team practices, the pool is where this family learns, grows, and connects.
Kenshin, now 9 years old, started his swimming adventure in Level 1. Over the years, he’s progressed through our program and earned his spot in the Silver Group on our Swim Team; a huge accomplishment!
Kenshin’s favorite stroke is breaststroke, and his dedication has paid off. He works hard in every practice and continues to improve with each swim. His journey is an inspiring example for younger swimmers.
A special part of Kenshin’s success story is his bond with Coach Ahna, his favorite instructor. Coach Ahna’s creativity and encouragement—like bringing cookies for swimmers to decorate after practice—make swimming fun and rewarding for all.
Following in his big brother’s footsteps, Oliver (3) began in our Parent and Me program. Now in Level 2, he’s learning the basics of freestyle and developing a love for the water all his own.
Oliver’s favorite parts of swim lessons are doing jumps at the end and relaxing in the hot tub afterward! He looks up to Kenshin and dreams of one day joining the swim team just like his big brother.
Ken and Ollie’s dad, Nicholas, loves spending time at the pool, watching his boys learn and grow in a safe, supportive environment. His encouragement helps make every lesson a family experience.
