Premier Lifeguard Training

All Premier lifeguards are American Red Cross certified and receive additional in-house training from our experienced management staff. In addition to meeting state certification requirements, every lifeguard participates in weekly in-service training to maintain readiness for any emergency. Each staff member is individually assessed to ensure only the most capable lifeguards represent Premier Aquatic Services.

Pool Monitors vs. Lifeguards

It’s important to understand the difference between pool monitors and lifeguards:

• Pool Monitors: Focus on observing the pool deck for hazards like glass, unsafe behavior, or rule violations. They do not perform water rescues or administer first aid.
• Lifeguards: Trained to prevent injuries, perform water rescues, and provide emergency first aid. Their goal is to protect every swimmer and maintain a safe environment in and around the water.
